Reducing Stress, Relieving Pain, Restoring Function.

My first experience with therapeutic massage and bodywork came after I experienced a sever sprain in my ankle. My Family Doctor could offer nothing more that RICE protocol and pain medication. I next sought my Chiropractor, he adjusted and it felt better, but I still could not walk on it. I took a chance and saw a Licensed Massage Therapist. I was able to walk out of the session without crutches and without pain meds. So I went back again, headaches fixed, neck issues fixed, back issues, aches, pains, stress, mood, sleep, thinking, it all improved without medication. I just had to learn more about this. Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork bring the best of medical science and knowledge of the ancient healers together.

I attended Lexington Healing Arts Academy in 2010 studying Anatomy, Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, Movement, Fundamentals of Massage, Ethics, Business and completed my Student Internship/Clinical Hours. I passed the National Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork exam and obtained my license through the Kentucky Board of Massage Therapist.

The human body is the most technologically advanced piece of equipment this planet. For me this is beyond fascinating 90% of what your bodies does with ease can not be replicated or duplicated. This body requires care and sadly we do not come into the world with an instruction manual. Stress, Pain, and Dysfunction are found when our body is not working for us but against us. I specialize in restoring wellness, reducing stress, relieving pain, and restoring function.

I am the owner and practicing therapist at Kentucky Healing Arts located at 225 East Peach Tree Street in Corbin, Ky.
