I graduated from Cortiva Institute of Massage Therapy in 2011, since then I have grown an understanding about the human body and it's ability to heal.  I believe that the mind, body and soul can all be healed through touch.  I am certified in hot stone and prenatal therapy, and specialize in swedish and therapeutic massage.  I love working with my clients that have specific area's of concerns as well as focusing on giving the most relaxing massage ever. I have worked with specific problems such as; frozen shoulder, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome and sciatica.  I want to keep expanding my knowledge and my understanding for the human body, and I will carry on to do so by taking continue education courses. I also just graduated from Prairie Yoga in May, 2015 to become a yoga instructor, in which I teach a vinyasa flow class at the Lombard Park District on Monday's from 9-10am.

Hot Stone Massage

I use the hot stone's during the massage to help alleviate tension, and ease muscle stiffness. The hot stone's direct heat promotes deeper muscle relaxation. Hot stone therapy is one of my favorite type of massage to receive and give. It is extremely calming and therapeutic, if you are looking for general relaxation massage defiantly try it out! I usually describe it to my clients as being in hot tub but better.

Prenatal Massage

In 2013 I went through training for the continue education course of prenatal massage. I always make sure during the session that my clients are comfortable in a side lying position with support of the cushions, while providing swedish massage and focusing on specific areas of concern.
