I am not your typical massage therapist. While I use dreamlike movements of massage to soothe and lengthen your tired and achy muscles, I also add an additional modality that helps you to connect back to your body.

What I have learned from my past 5 years of being a massage therapist and master coach is that pain has BOTH a physical and an emotional component. I believe with all my heart that BOTH the physical and the emotional component need to be addressed for long lasting healing. By addressing both, you get to the root cause so that change and transformation can happen for longterm health and well being benefits.

So often the pain and stress from the day gets stored in your muscles, your tissues , and even your posture!! Many times stress that is left untreated later turns into dis-ease!! Did you know that 90% of all doctors visits are tied back to stress related illnesses?

Your body uses your physical pain, stress, overwhelm and other feelings as a way of getting your attention AND to communicate with you. It is alerting you that something is not right. Instead of using language, the inner wisdom of your body uses your feelings.

Have you ever felt when something just didn't feel right or something just felt off about a situation? This is the part of the body that I am speaking about.

By combining massage AND connecting the body and the mind, it puts the whole picture together so that we together are able to get to the root of what is causing your pain/ stress/ overwhelm not just the symptoms!!
