I have always wanted to be in a profession that helped others feel better and to be apart of their healing journey. I attended Irene's Myomassology Institute in Southfield, Mi in 2005 and graduated with over 600+ hours in education and hands-on training. I am licensed in the state of Michigan. I am certified in teaching Partner Prenatal Massage. I also have certifications and knowledge of working with those who suffer from PTSD and Anxiety. I am currently a rehabilitation massage therapist working in various facilities around my area, working with individuals who have been in motor vehicle accidents and work related injuries. Most of my present clients suffer from TBI, SCI, PTSD, Amputation and multiple fractures throughout their body.
I believe that touch is very important in a healing journey. Whether it is to provide a comforting loving touch to someone who is always being handled in a medical need or an active release technique to help break up an adhesion in connective tissues, a person can benefit from both. Massage therapy is an emotional, physical, and spiritual experience. I believe in practicing a professional, caring, loving, empathetic touch and quality massage. A positive professional touch can help any negative situation.
