Massage is important for a balanced, healthy, and active life. Decreased pain and stiffness in joints, the neck and back, and reduced muscle pain and tension ~ along with better sleep and a fresh perspective ~ are some of the benefits my clients have experienced.  I have been a therapist since 2005 and have worked on clients from 8 to 80+ years of age.

In 2003 after working in an office for several years I began to feel the need to help people in a more direct and hands on way so I decided to become a massage therapist. I graduated from the Health Works Institute 780 hour massage program in Bozeman in 2005. I then began working at Chico Day Spa and running my own part-time practice. In 2014 I decided to focus on my own practice Elaine's Wellness Massage.

Course work at HealthWorks covered the following techniques:
Swedish Massage
Myofascial Release
Trigger Point Therapy
Tuina (Asian Technique)

Since than I have studied techniques that work worth the clients pain and tension patterns to find release and relief.  I also have studied post-techniques that I can have clients do at home to maintain that relief.
