Deep Tissue or fondly known as "connective tissue" as our bodies are "connected" by connective tissue from head to toe. This type of modality helps flush out adhesions and break up congestion in tissue. I use this type of modality in a combination of Swedish, neuromuscular, trigger point and acupressure.
This modality is used often in an integrative fashion with Swedish, trigger point, connective tissue and acupressure. This type of modality is great for TOS, Carpal tunnel, headaches, migraines, etc.
I absolutely love using this modality not only with my athletes at the gym but on my table with many clients that suffer from Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) this type of dysfunction is very common when with clients that sit at their desks all day. Symptoms can be the following but not limited too. Tingling in the fingers/hands, tight/achy at the neck and upper shoulder, headaches and sometimes migraines.
I use this modality in the combination with Neuromuscular as many clients appreciate the flowing type of strokes along with getting some troubled areas in balance.
This Modality is great for headaches and very congested connective tissue, many chronic muscle dysfunctions are benefited by using this type of modality. It is also used in an integrated fashion with Swedish, neuromuscular, connective tissue, sports massage, and medical massage.
I have several years of experience working in medical offices as well as MRI. I have extensive knowledge in anatomy and physiology.
I have studied this type of modality and have used it several times on my clients with great results.
Working with clients that suffer from chronic migraines. Have had great success in using Acupressure with these types of symptoms.
Thai massage, which originated in India, has been around for over 2,500 years. Originally regarded as a healing art, traditional Thai massage includes influences from both Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine. Unlike typical Western-type massages, it doesn’t involve lying on a massage bed while a massage therapist applies oil to your body and kneads your muscles and pressure points. Instead, you lie fully clothed on a mat on the ground while a practitioner uses stretching, pulling, and rocking techniques to relieve tension, promote relaxation, and improve flexibility and circulation.
is an ancient form of alternative medicine in Eastern Medicine in which a therapist apply special cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. For many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage.
