A West Virginia transplant, I landed in Summers County in August 2015. I received my education at New River Community and Technical College in Lewisburg, WV under the direction of Drema Morgan and Loria Chasnoff in 2016-2017. Coursework included: Pathology, Kinesiology, Anatomy and Physiology, Eastern Modalities, Reflexology, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Special populations, Seated Chair Massage and Ethics with a Student Clinic serving the public and an independent case study. My continuing education has most recently included Level 1 Cranial Sacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute.
My aim is to recognize each client's needs and goals and apply my caring touch from this foundation of knowledge. I understand the associated aches and pains which occur in various occupations and lifestyles. Before becoming licensed to offer therapeutic touch, I sought massage for my own healing and have continued to do so for nearly 15 years.
A mother of two, I love being active with my kids, and Southern West Virginia has all of our favorite outdoor adventures. I love long-distance hiking,CrossFit, trail running, biking along the river trail, wild crafting, kayaking, yoga, meditation, rock climbing, SUP, backcountry backpacking, disc golf, frisbee, and our local music, art and food scene.
