I have been practicing Massage and Bodywork Therapy since 2017.  I hold a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from Brevard College in Brevard, NC and graduated from Maiden School of Massage & Bodywork in Maiden, NC. I am a certified Medical Massage Practitioner and also teach several continuing education classes for massage therapists....

Thank you for considering Massage in Motion as your Massage Therapy and Bodywork provider. My name is Marshal Hartley and I am the owner of Massage in Motion. I have been practicing Massage and Bodywork Therapy since 2017.  I hold a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science from Brevard College in Brevard, NC and graduated from Maiden School of Massage & Bodywork in Maiden, NC. I am a certified Medical Massage Practitioner and also teach several continuing education classes for massage therapists. 

I specialize in Orthopedic Massage, considering client posture, environment and movement patterns to resolve pain and restore range of motion. My goal of meeting the needs of the client within each session guides the modalities I incorporate and may include Deep Tissue, Orthopedic, Cupping, Trigger Point, Neuromuscular, or Swedish Massage. 

In my free time you may find me mountain biking or hiking on local trails, working on my homestead or learning more about Massage Therapy modalities and techniques. I look forward to the opportunity to provide a fulfilling and effective Massage and Bodywork experience.
