I am one of only a handful of Certified Fascial Stretch Specialist’s™ in Virginia and one of only a few HUNDRED at my level in the WORLD. In May of 2018 I completed the elite level 3 medical course at the Stretch To Win™ Institute in Chandler, Arizona. I was first introduced to Fascial Stretch Therapy™ (FST) randomly, as a client early in 2016 and I fell in love with it immediately!! Feeling the difference it made with my chronic pain and discomfort was a game changer for me and I quickly decided I wanted to learn as much as I could about it and share how powerful it is with others. Between September of 2016 and the spring of 2018 I completed my training. To date I have near 150 hours of course education in Fascial Stretch Therapy, and you can count my hours of session time with clients, to include professional athletes, easily in the tens of thousands.
I’m also a Certified Massage Therapist, graduating from the Central Maryland School of Massage in 2013. I have worked in multiple massage environments, including spending 4 years at Hideaway Massage, voted best massage studio in Loudoun County several years running. I hold certifications and am trained in:
Prior to my move into the bodywork industry I enjoyed a very successful management career in the service industry. Being of service to people is what I’ve always wanted to do and during my 30-year career I’ve stayed true to professionalism and customer/client service above all else. And now I pledge those same values to every one of my clients.
I am also a big believer in educating the client. All too often clients come in feeling frustrated that they’ve been seen by other medical professionals but don’t feel they’ve been very well informed. It’s important to me to absorb what the client has to say, then whether it’s knowledge to benefit them between sessions, or a better understanding of what’s going on in their body, I do my best to make sure my clients leave the session informed and empowered.

Massage Certification
Fascial Stretch Therapy Level 1
Fascial Stretch Therapy Level 2
Fascial Stretch Therapy Level 3 Medical
Certified Lifestretch Instructor
This certification in March of 2016 allowed me to add a valuable tool to my treatments and I've spent the last four years using it most everyday. Whether it be a full deep tissue massage session, or working in some deep tissue as needed to my FST sessions. The training included deep tissue techniques for sciatic pain treatment, headache prevention and treatment; cupping techniques and joint mobilization techniques.
Taking this certification in May 2015 gave me a further knowledge in injury prevention and the use of sports massage techniques for trigger point therapy, strain counterstrain methods, PNF stretching, cryotherapy and reciprocal inhibition techniques for muscle cramp relief. Since then this knowledge along with others, has served me well working with numerous professional and amateur athletes. Including athletes from the NFL, the NBA, those trained in MMA and strongman competitions to name a few. I've also worked the Washington Redskins 5k run and helped participants of the Marine Corp. Marathon in 2016 and 2018.
