After several months in a coma and rehabilitation, I was finally released from the hospital. The road to recovery was rewarding but difficult. It was during physical therapy that I recognized the "power of touch". Touch simply brought me racing back from depression and encouraged me to fight to regain my life with my family. I did research and decided to "pay it forward" by becoming a massage therapist.
In 2011, I received my degree and MO licensure. I have since become a Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist, specializing in children with Autism and special needs. I am also a Certified Infant Massage Teacher, teaching parents the many benefits and procedure of massaging their babies.
