After a major downsize in 2008 Karl found himself unemployed after 27 years with the same company and decided it was time for a change.
After working as an activity director for seniors for six months and seeing the benefits of healing touch therapy, he enrolled in a 927 hour massage therapy program at the Academy of Somatic Healing Arts in Norcross Georgia. Karl graduated in September 2013 from Everest Institute in Duluth, GA following studies at Atlanta Somatic Healing Arts (ASHA) in Norcross, GA and obtained his state licensure in September 2013.
Karl has worked in a variety of therapeutic environments such as wellness programs, Chiropractic care, as well as a day spa setting. Karl is experienced in several modalities of massage including: Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, cupping, hot stones, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, and injury rehabilitation.
Karl is very passionate about the field of massage therapy and hopes to continue to educate the public about the benefits of massage and make massage an affordable and valuable part of his clients' wellness plans.
