I provide therapeutic massage which is a mixture of modalities like swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, stretching, and lymphatic drainage tailored to the needs of each client. I also practice the gentle, John Barnes form of Myofascial Release therapy. This is helpful for many issues like scoliosis, TMJ, fibromyalgia, endometriosis, general feeling of tightness, nerve impingement, feeling stuck, neck and back pain, headaches, etc. I see the body as a whole and strive to address the cause of the problem, not just treat the symptoms, as we strive to get you growing on your own healing journey......... I will usually send you home with stretches to do (homework)... Please note: Rome wasn't built in a day and neither were your pain issues.. it takes patience, time, and some dedication to find relief and you can make a change. I look forward to helping you.

Massage Therapy
Fascia is the connective tissue that runs through our bodies from head to toe, which surrounds and connects each cell. This provides structure, holds organs in place, protects, absorbs shock, sends sensory information, etc. When there is trauma, inflammation or repetitive stress on our bodies, sometimes restrictions are created. This can cause a great deal of pain and restriction of movement. These restrictions don't show up on the standardized tests, like X-rays and cat scans... Myofascial release is a gentle method of sustained stretch to help relieve restrictions, allow tissues to rehydrate and the body to function properly once again. A well trained and centered therapist can assess where the tissues are solidified and apply sustained pressure and stretching which can begin the healing process.
