My
name is Kelly DeLeo, I am Licensed Massage Therapist, nationally certified by
NCBTMB (National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork), as well as a Registered Nurse. My
background began over 20 years ago in Boston, Massachusetts when I opened a
wellness center while raising my three children. After being in the corporate
world for five years and suffering from carpel tunnel syndrome, I put off
surgery that the Dr.’s told me was my only option, and tried out massage
therapy for this ailment. My sore, aching wrists felt better after my first
visit and I continued with a few more appointments and never needed the
surgery. It was such a profound experience,
I wondered why my Dr. never mentioned that massage therapy may help. I immediately found Healing Touch Institute
and became a massage therapist within one year of this discovery. 18 months
later, I gave my notice, gave up my glass office and opened my wellness center.
Yoga, massage therapy, nutrition counseling and stress reduction programs
became the way my family and I took a proactive approach to maintaining our
health and wellness. Over the course of
several years I obtained my Advanced Yoga Teacher Training from the Sivananda
Ashram, and Reiki Master Teacher.
It
is my belief that we need to take a proactive approach to keeping our bodies
healthy. Massage Therapy is a must for
maintaining vibrant, thriving health. Massage therapy has been proven to
increase your energy, relieve stress, lower heart rate, lower blood pressure,
increase circulation, relieve sore muscles, strengthens the immune system, promotes
deeper easier breathing, increases flexibility and range of motion, provides
headache and migraine relief, among a host of other benefits.
Don’t delay, call today for your appointment and begin your road to thriving health and wellness!
