I'm Mariel Deaguero, CNMT (Certified Neuromuscular Massage Therapist) and the owner of Native & Natural. I started my training at the Colorado School of Healing Arts, where I attained my AOS degree in Neuromuscular Massage Therapy, shortly after graduating from Dakota Ridge High School. My interest in body work started at a young age when massage was the only thing that gave me relief from chronic migraines and re-educated me on the benefits of healthy touch.
As a Colorado native I was drawn to CHSA to continue my education in neuromuscular, sports, reflexology and Trauma Touch. I have also received training with Access Conciseness in their Bars program. Upon graduation in 2004, I worked with several natural and homeopathic doctors, in wellness centers, the Woodhouse Day Spa, with private in-home clients, corporations (Gates, I.H.S. and Bonfils), and private events (Triple Bypass, baby/bridal showers, girls night out, National Square Dance Conventions, etc.). Since 2004 I have worked at the Arne Wellness Center (as a massage therapist) and at Dr. Akers Natural Health Clinic (as the Clinical Coordinator and Massage Director). As of 2015 I decided to network with other heath care professionals as opposed to working for them. This gives me the flexibility to set family as a priority while maintaining my passion for healing. My family consists of my husband (a contract interior/exterior painter), 18 and 17 year old step-sons (both play/ed high school football), 4 year old son and a 5 year old Peek-a-Poo. As a family we truly enjoy being artistic and having the opportunity to go to the mountains as often as possible.
It is my belief that a good relationship is based on understanding, honesty and open communication. With this being said, if you have any questions or concerns please let me know.
I'm looking forward to supporting you, with your personal wellness journey!

Working with Dr. Arne gave me a unique opportunity to treat clients with minor-severe injuries due to auto accidents and workman's comp. 2004-2011
Dr. Akers clinic was a wonderful experience, allowing me to work side by side with a natural healer. This gave me great insight to the world of Applied Kinesiology (A.K.). and NET. 2013-2015
