I Love To Practice Massage. .....I love teaching people about how amazing their bodies truly are, whether it be through the language of my hands or the language of words, chart or a computer. I often see how inverted clients are that I have observed over the last several years, how well and important Physiology really is to a person's being. Releasing the body works at unwinding the fascia within itself. Did you Know?.......Fascia , which is a connective tissue that wraps muscles, well it actually wraps every muscle, nerve, bone, blood vessel and organ in the body. It's truly amazing how deeply connected everything is in the body through fascia.
My initial massage training taught me how to massage muscles, whether it be a lighter Swedish massage or NMT(neuromuscular technique) also known as deep tissue. Over the years my education and experience have grown and I have come to realize, that I could have an affect on the muscles tissue and posture by using the techniques learned and listening to what the body it tell me. I often tell me clients that everything around them is so loud that they don't hear the cries of the body. Sometimes healing starts with quieting everything around you and you will hear what the body is telling you.
As I advanced in my journey as a massage therapist I came to understand that there was much, much more to helping the body release, unwind, relax and balance than working out tight muscles or knots. I have found that assuring a place where clients can come feel safe and do just that, relax and unwind. The connection and respect of client and therapist can be just as rewarding than the massage itself. Connection in a world of disconnect can really make a difference in one's healing process to stabilize the supportive health cause of my clients.
