Nikkie's journey with massage therapy began well before her professional career. Massaging family and friends as well as engaging in studies in the healing arts and holistic health was a rewarding pastime in her youth. Nikkie's journey with massage therapy began well before her professional career. Massaging family and friends as well as engaging in studies in the healing arts and holistic health was a rewarding pastime in her youth. After graduating high school Nikkie attended Temple University in Philadelphia and continued her studies in allied health care by obtaining her Bachelor's in Science majoring in Therapeutic Recreation, specializing in Geriatric care, Alzheimer's and Dementia. After completing an extensive internship in the Transitional Care Unit at The Abramson Center for Jewish life Nikkie accepted a position as Director of Therapeutic Recreation at Stapeley a Continuing Care Retirement Community. All the while continuing her studies in massage therapy and holistic health. Passion for Massage Although a rewarding position Nikkie's passion for massage therapy grew stronger and she decided to continue her academic pursuits by attending the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in Falls Church, completing over 450 hours in training hours; moving on to work at a very successful high volume massage therapy clinic. Professional Massage Therapist As a professional Massage Therapist Nikkie works with individuals who have had previous injuries, chronic pain, fibromyalgia, stress induced pain, as well as clients looking for physical improvements through sports and swedish massage. Nikkie individualizes each therapy session to suit the specific needs of her clients while extending her knowledge, expertise, and encouraging clients to maintain self care and make healthy decision in between therapy sessions.

Nikkie is very professional and personable. I have never had a massage and needed relief from several medical issues which Nikkie has helped tremendously with. She focuses your massage towards your specific concerns and pays attention to results, looking for improvement and adjusting as needed. My first massage she did an in-depth evaluation of my weaknesses and since has been building on that progress.

I went for medical reasons but I ended up enjoying it very much too. She was highly skilled and very warm and easy. She showed me some stretches that would work for me. It was a very good experience
