LMT since 2011
Since childhood I've always been drawn to massage, from massaging friends after sports in school or to friends in the military. Unfortunately I didn't make that connection until later in life, after I left the military in 2010. I moved to Washington State and I happened to randomly walk into a college offering massage and knew instinctively that I had found my calling. That particular school's focus was orthopedic and sports massage, which I quickly developed a knack for. I graduated in 2011 and started a mobile business massaging people in their homes. In 2013 I moved back to New York and had to go back to school to meet the state requirements to practice. I went to the Finger lake School of Massage in Ithaca and graduated in 2014, became licensed in 2016.
In 2016 I decided I wanted a change of pace and moved to Lake Placid and started working at a spa in a four star resort. After a few years I wanted to really get to know and have an impact on the community and not just the vacationers, so I started working out of Balance Bodyworks in 2018. In 2019 I was selected to work with the Olympic athletes at the training center in town.
At this moment I am excited to start a new part of my journey here at Healing elements.
