I have studied Mosby's Sports and Exercise massage by Sandy Fritz.
I studied at the Swedish Institute in New York. We focused on myfascial release to relieve the TMJ dysfunction and thoracic outlet syndrome.
I studied at Oregon School of Massage. In this course we studied active isolated stretching for the feet and legs. This technique engages the muscle in a short stretch 6-10 times to open up the range of motion within the joints.
I studied neuromuscular therapy at Oregon School of massage.
I studied anatomy and physiology for a year at Portland Community College. This helped deepen my knowledge of the body and all of it's systems.
NIA White Belt training is a week long work shop studying the fitness practice of NIA. NIA is a neuromuscular and anatomy based form of movement and dance for the body, mind and spirit.
