Ms. Hughes received her first Reflexology treatment in 1957 for a sprained ankle. This began her interest and studying of many natural healing modalities.
In 1994 Jeanne received her Certification in Reflexology from the Progressive Institute of Reflexology. In 1995 she co-founded Wisconsin's first Reflexology Organization. She currently serves on the Board of Integrated Reflexologists of Wisconsin and is a member of the Reflexology Association of America. Her training also includes study for practice of: Ortho Bionomy of the Foot and Lower Leg, Foot Mobilization and Assessment, Facial Reflexology, Infertility & Hormonal Reflex Therapy, Hand Reflex Therapy and Chi Reflexology.
Certified Natural Health Professional status was earned in 2000 from The National Association of Natural Health Professionals. Continuing education though CNHP has included: Anatomy, Reams Testing, Dry Blood Analysis, Microbiology, Iridology, Nutrition, Bodywork, Face, Tongue and Nail Analysis, Muscle Testing and other classes relation to her specialty.
Cranio Sacral training began in the 1970's with the Sister Kinney Institute. She then continued classes at Upledger Institute in 2004. In 2007 to the present her studies continue with Heartwood Institute of Integrative Medicine under Maureen Schwehr, NMD. Jeanne specializes in Transformative Techniques of CST specifically with Pediatric, Geriatric and persons with Emotional and Physical Disabilities.
Serving as an East African Coordinator of Herbalists Without Borders for several years has been a life changing experience. Teaching and promoting natural health modalities at Ray of Hope Academy in Belgium, WI is always exciting. Facilitating workshops locally helps promote health for the entire family unit and bonds our community.
