"No single therapeutic agent can be compared in efficiency with this familiar but perfect tool... the human hand. If half as much research had been expended on the principles governing manual treatment as upon pharmacology, the hand would be esteemed today on a par with drugs in acceptability and power."

In 1995 after a severe, cervical injury that left me incapacitated for over a year, with a devastating prognosis from neurosurgeons, I became dependent on pharmaceutical drugs for pain relief. Surgeons informed me that I would eventually be paralyzed from the neck down without surgical intervention but with no guarantee of a better outcome with surgery. Feeling hopeless but having a strong desire to feel better I sought out healing methods which offered an alternative to surgery and avoided a life long regiment of pain and anti-inflammatory medications which included Chiropractic, Massage and Physical Therapy. I never did get the surgery and I am back to weight training but have continued massage therapy since this time. It was through this life changing experience that inspired me to learn more about the anatomy and functions of the body.

My professional training includes Biochemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Pathologies, Blood Chemistry Analysis, Personal Training and Hands-on Massage Therapy Classes.

I am a PA Licensed Massage Therapist, my certifications include Functional Diagnostic Nutrition, Metabolic Fitness, Facilitated Stretching for Athletic Trainers, and several Massage Therapy continuing education Certifications.

Through my years of experience working with many clients with injuries I have developed my own technique which includes a combination of MyoFascial Release, Sports Massage, Thai Yoga and Facilitated Stretching Techniques.

In my practice I specialize in working with all levels of athletes with back and hip injuries/dysfunctions.

I travel to you.
