Laura Thelander is an intuitive, educated practitioner in the field of complementary and integrative health who divides her time between therapeutic massage and hypnosis.

In her clinical practice, Laura provides customized massage to address pain, stress, and anxiety. She often uses an integrative approach of complementary modalities, mind/body wellness, energy techniques to support the healing process for clients.

After achieving her MA in Business Leadership & Change Management, she spent 20+ years facilitating change within corporate environments for individuals and teams.   Driven by research that suggests each person has the ability to activate his or her own internal healing response, she made a conscious shift toward mind-body therapies in 2014.  Laura is a licensed massage therapist, a Certified Consulting Hypnotist, and a Level III Usui Reiki Master Practitioner /Trainer.  

Laura finds it gratifying to witness the power of mind and body working together. She has had the privilege of witnessing dramatic transformations using hypnosis and therapeutic bodywork in clients with anxiety and depression. She is eager to encourage the healing of mind, body, and spirit in her clients by blending a nurturing, educated touch with insightful listening and evidence-based coaching.

What a great therapeutic massage. Laura asked questions about my needs and focused on areas that needed her attention. She is very good at working the tension out of muscles. As a bonus, she is a kind person and great conversationalist! The atmosphere is warm, clean, and inviting. I will certainly return.
