I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in CT, an Oncology Massage Specialist with training in hospital based pediatric work, adult cancer, as well as a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist. I am a founding board member and Treasurer for Healing Therapies THRU Sharing, a 501c3 nonprofit organization which provides cancer care and support services to patients in active treatment, remission, end of life care as well as to their caregivers and family.
I feel to be able to hold space and work with a patient of any age, in active treatment, remission or end of life care in such a way that does not cause pain, nor have an agenda is a true gift. Providing compassionate touch to those affected by cancer as a patient, caregiver or family member in a hospital setting, at the center or in the home as needed.
By collaborating together, sessions are customized to improve your well being. Incorporating different modalities such as cupping, hot stones, Thai Massage and Craniosacral Therapy are sure to meet your relaxation and therapeutic goals to find inner peace. Being a massage therapist allows me to bring comfort to those in need by reducing their pain, inflammation, and anxiety, while increasing their range of motion which allows clients to function better, play harder, sleep better and so much more.
Previously worked in the massage school industry for 15 years after graduating from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in 2004 and am an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association. When not at the center seeing patients, she enjoys spending quality time with her family on their mini farm homestead.
