April 2013 saw me open the doors to my first studio space in West Hollywood, to offer my brand of deep tissue bodywork; which I learned from extensive training over two years with healer and master bodyworker Bob Harris.

Over which time, for each client coming in seeking relief, I would begin by energetically inquiring - "What does this body need?" This question lead me to develop The Sterkenburg Effect, a system of Intelligent Touch with the Intention of 'Release & Re-Align' in chronically affected areas of stress.

I offer a unique intra-oral tmj release technique, which tends to unlock neck and shoulder pain, as well as relieve chronic headache symptoms. My deep tissue approach to release back, neck and shoulders has also been effective for sufferers of frozen shoulder and sciatica. Myofascial Release and Trigger Point techniques are also employed for a maximally effective bodywork session. Clients have said this deep tissue experience is distinct from anything they've experienced before. 

Exploring ways of moving the body, releasing stuck-ness either in the physical body or the emotional body are areas I explore on-goingly with my clients willing to meet their own healing and up-leveling through bodywork.
