I have been practicing massage for almost 12 years this coming December.
Deep Tissue/ upper bodywork is my specialty. Massage for me, is very therapeutic work, it keeps me sane and balanced!
I was introduced to massage from my great-great grandma Lula about the age of 12-13 when my left arm became numb and unresponsive. I remember flying to Oahu to have her work on it. She used freshly made coconut oil and smoked her cigar backwards. She was amazing. People sought her out for her healing work, even in old age! She passed at 98yrs old. To me she was mysterious, long white hair, big glasses, and smelt of fresh coconut oil.
Me.. personally? I'm an open book, ask me anything and i'll tell you whatever you'd like to know, my friends on social media think i'm a crazy person, sharing way to much information but hey, That's ME! haha! lol.
My roots run deep in the islands as I am a mix of Hawaiian-Filipino and like I tell everyone, cooking is my weakest point. I can't cook for CRAP! LOL excuse my language. (and I have no passion what so ever to learn) My husband on the other hand is an amazing cook! He's an ocean lover, and brings home the "Bacon" lol he's my fisherman/nerd!! We have an 11 year old son who...lets just be honest... is simply my world. (I'm an overprotected mom when it comes to him, but i'm sure every mom is just as crazy as I am!)...lol I think!
