Hello! My name is Nicci,
I have been practicing massage for 16 years. I am from Kittanning, PA. I chose massage therapy for many reasons, but my main inspiration was my mom. She has an autoimmune disease that causes her to have severe muscle attacks. I wanted to help her find some relief and on my journey of research I discovered my love for massage and helping others.
In 2005 - 2007 I attended the Massage Therapy program at Butler Community College in Butler, PA. During this time I received my Certification in Massage Therapy and Associates Degree in Applied Science. In 2008, I received my license in the State of Pennsylvania.
The State of PA requires 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years, as well as a current CPR certification, and Child Abuse Recognition training. Through my years of continuing education I have obtained Certifications in Integrative Reflexology; Pregnancy Massage, Body Saver Massage; and Chinese Ear, Hand, and Foot Reflexology with Aromatherapy.
Some techniques I specialize in are Swedish, Hot stone, Therapeutic and Pregnancy massage.
Currently I practice massage therapy at Masci Chiropractic in Kittanning, PA. I have been employed by Dr. Masci since July of 2007. In the beginning I worked here casual/part-time while also attaining employment at a Salon and Spa in Butler 2008-2011, Pa and then another local Massage Practice in Kittanning 2010-2014. In 2018, After my youngest daughter was born I decided to make Masci Chiropractic my full-time place of employment. I can honestly say it has been the best decision for my family and myself.
While I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my husband, 3 children, and our 3 dogs.
I hope that after reading a little about me and why I became a massage therapist will make you feel comfortable and wanting to schedule your next appointment with me.
