Physical Therapist Assistant

Have worked primarily in inpatient rehabilitation settings with a variety of conditions, illnesses and injuries including hip and knee replacement, cardiac, stroke, back surgery, amputation, dementia, difficulty walking, motor vehicle accidents, etc. Frequent modalities used include gait and transfer training, therapeutic exercise, electric stimulation, ultrasound, and diathermy; soft tissue massage used when appropriate to increase range of motions, decrease edema, improve circulation and decrease pain. Additionally, I have a fitness background including Group Exercise Instructor, Personal Trainer, Water Aerobics instructor, and Life Guard. While I am new to massage I feel my background in fitness and physical therapy with knowledge of functional and structural anatomy and movement gives me a huge head start. I am also very comfortable and experienced in working with disabled and elderly populations.

Yes, I have already recommended Jeanne Priest to several of my friends. She is a highly skilled and knowledgeable massage therapist. She listens closely and is responsive and professional. She has been able to relieve my pain on the three occasions that I have gone to her. I felt so much more comfortable after her work!

I think Jeanne personable and professional. I like that she doesn't talk during the session other than the necessary questions, etc. She explained and made suggestions about a couple things after the session which I thought was helpful. I loved the music. It was a great massage. I will schedule again.

very good massage! Therapist was very knowledgeable and had a good sense of what she was feeling without me having to say anything. I appreciated her work and it felt great!

Jeanne has a gift. She is by far the best massage therapist I have ever been to. I have been experiencing hip pain for years and over time she has worked on the problem and I am pain free for the first time in a very long time. She takes time to listen and truly wants to help.

Jeanne was such a thoughtful and intentional masseuse. She took the time to really investigate my problem areas, and then diligently addressed them. She was kind and very skilled. I can't wait to come back.

You must schedule an appointment for massage. If you have any lingering nagging pain Jeanne is very knowledgeable and will address it. She will give you stretching and strengthening exercises to help rehabilitate the area. bui
