Amy Allen provides therapeutic massage for both horses and people. She has a passion for helping people achieve better body awareness and mindfulness, therefore relieving pain and stress. She also strives to help horses and their riders work together in harmony. With her strong background in horseback riding and barrel racing, she understands the therapeutic needs of both horse and rider. Amy’s clients have varied from the average working man seeking relief, to weekend warriors and elite rodeo athletes seeking a competitive edge. 

Amy became a Massage Therapist in 2011 when she graduated from IntelliTec College of Grand Junction, Colorado. While at IntelliTec College, Amy also became a Reiki Practitioner under the instruction of Reiki Master, Madaline Brown. She went on to receive her equine massage training at the Western Montana School of Equine Massage in 2012. Amy has worked alongside chiropractors, which has given her a unique insight to how the muscles and skeletal system work together. This experience helps Amy when she formulates a treatment plan with her clients. Amy’s work has been described as “deep therapeutic massage with a gentle, healing approach on the body”. She believes a good massage therapist has a combination of passion, knowledge and intuition. She is always looking for information to increase those three values in herself.

In her free time, Amy loves riding her horse with her three year old son and working on creative projects.
