From U.S. Army Veteran to Licensed Massage Therapist and Mental Health Advocate, daily aches, pains, and stress are no stranger to me.
My name is Desiree Davenport, and I am a Killeen/Fort Hood native. I grew up in Killeen as an Army brat and chose to join the service myself. After my medical retirement, I chose to follow my advocacy for mental health and passion for helping others, which led me to the field of massage therapy.
While attending the University of Arizona online for a Bachelor's degree in Health and Wellness, I also attended Central Texas College and graduated from the Licensed Massage Therapy course. Quickly recognizing the importance of massage and its benefits for the body and mind, I found great enjoyment in using the skills I have learned to assist my clients with rejuvenation, both physically and mentally. When our negative symptoms associated with pain are reduced, the positive effects on our health and well-being have a chance to move to the forefront of our lives.
I specialize in Swedish massage, Orthopedic massage, Deep Tissue, and Prenatal/Postpartum massage. I also tend to a wide variety of ages, from the elderly to pediatric and newborns.
But wait! My proclivity for helping doesn't just stop at people! My other passion and newest adventure include my love for horses! I am also a Certified Equine Sports Massage Therapist (C-ESMT) for your horse massage therapy needs! Because who doesn't want a happy, healthy horse?!
