Leslie became a nurse in 1982 due to her desire to help others.  During her years as an RN, she has continued to pursue a passion for learning about holistic health practices including Healing Touch and Reiki, Aromatherapy, Imagery, and Sound and Vibrational Therapy in order to better serve her patients.  This led to her becoming certified as a Holistic Health Consultant after taking courses at the Institute for Holistic Leadership.  In addition, she gained certification in Reflexology and Aromatherapy and continues to pursue continuing education in these areas.
