Hi, my name is Peter Schwartz. I wanted to get into massage therapy for a number of reasons. A few of the most important reasons were I was looking for a job I could do all year long, in pretty much any place I wanted to live, and no matter what the weather was outside, I could always have comfortable working conditions. I wanted to be able to work from home and be near my future family as much as possible. Also I wanted to help people. I think the idea of people coming to me in pain and being uncomfortable, and leaving feeling refreshed and physically amazing, is a really great thing.

I went to Houston, Texas in September of 2019 and joined the Texas School Of Massage. Once I had completed their 500 hour program, I decided to move back to my home state of Iowa to practice massage therapy there. The state of Iowa requires completion of a 600 hour course, so I had to go to the Dancing Prairie Massage Therapy College in Coralville, Iowa to get 100 more hours of study. I graduated from Dancing Prairie in December of 2020, and am now licensed and ready to start my career of helping people feel amazing!

I hurt my back while exercising. I was trying to fix it with a lot of stretching but was getting no relief. Peter gave me a 90 minute message and determined that even though the pain was in my back the problem was actually in my lower calve muscles. He worked on my calves and gave me instructions on how I could take further care of my legs to relieve my back pain. Good work!!
