I was born and raised in Venezuela, a multicultural country. Since my grandfather was Chinese and an expert in traditional Chinese medicine, I learned early in life the amazing results that natural healing has in our mental and physical well being. That is why, I firmly believe in the power of bodywork  to calm, improve and rejuvenate the mind and body.

That is why, I firmly believe in the power of bodywork  to calm, improve and rejuvenate the mind and body.

I became an Esthetician in 2009, and in 2010 I took my training in therapeutic massage at the Institute of Sanative Arts in Grand Rapids, MI. Shortly after that, I started working at Alpha Massage, Inspiring Hands and Vitality Chiropractic. I loved working at all of these places, however, my goal was to have my own practice. I accomplished that goal in the beggining of 2012. In 2013, I moved my practice to downtown Kalamazoo where I have been working ever since. 

I absolutely love what I do. It brings me great satisfaction to make my clients feel better after every session. I believe that every BODY is unique and deserves to be treated as such, that is why two of my massages are never identical. I also love essential oils which I use in both my practice and personal-daily life.

Recently, I found another passion: Doula work. I really love to support laboring women through the beautiful, intimate, yet challenging birth process. Every birth is so unique and so is every family, but one thing every mother deserves it to have the birth she wants and that is my goal.  I use massage techniques, aromatherapy, compression and other comforting measures to keep the mother relaxed and comfortable until baby arrives.

I am amazed everyday by the way our bodies work and heal themselves. From the birth process to how muscles, tendons, and ligaments work together proves that we are without a doubt "wonderfully made."

Deep Tissue

I have successfully help many of my clients through several deep tissue techniques. Deep tissue not only means deeper pressure but rather the use of massage techniques that can affect or change in a positive way muscle tissue to reduce pain, inflammation, limited range of motion, etc.

Cupping Methods

I have been practicing Cupping Massage since 2012. This amazing technique has been widely used in Asia for many years. In my practice, I have used this modality to successfully relax tight muscles, release scar tissue, increase blood flow to an area, and ease pain.

Ashiatsu

Ashiatsu Massage is one of my specialties. I learned this amazing technique in February 2012, and it has been one of my favorite techniques ever since. I have taken several Ashiatsu classes: Basic, Advanced, Anterior/ Side-Lying and Ashi-Thai. This type of massage has its roots in Asia where it is a popular form of bodywork. This technique allows the therapist to use her feet and body weight to apply the pressure, that is why Ashiatsu is ideal for clients who love and/or need deep tissue massage.

I became an Esthetician in May, 2009. I was trained by Teresa Elksnis, a specialist in organic skin care and proud owner and creator of Besso Cosmetics. I learned from her how to use ingredients found in nature to create a customized facial that would benefit my client's skin without using harmful chemicals.
