Aloha,
My name is Gretchen Arellano. I am a licensed massage therapist, as of September 2016, in Kailua Kona Hawaii. I completed my Level 1, 150 hour course, with Geno's Muscular Massage School and finished my Level 2 course with Tina Walters at Medical Massage Academy. The idea of becoming a massage therapist came from my childhood. My parents would ask me to massage them after they would come home from a hard days work. They would always say that I have “healing hands” and that I have a natural gift for it. Through out high school I was very interested in the medical field. I wished to continue my dream of becoming a massage therapist. So in 2012 I received a diploma as a physical therapy aid from Penn Foster Career School in order to learn more about the body, and gain knowledge to help myself become a massage therapist.
With that being said, I hope to see you as a client helping you in your rehabilitation as well as helping YOU live a better quality of life.
HERE'S SOMETHING YOU SHOULD KNOW ^_^
On my free time, I started doing a sport of martial arts called Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. After a year of training, I entered my first tournament and took 2nd place in NO-GI novice and 3rd place in WHITE BELT GI division. It became my happy place when I am not at doing what I love (massage).
