Member of the "Worlds' Sports Massage Team". I give therapy to the World's greatest athletes during the Olympic Games in the sacred "Olympic Village", I have been hand picked by the International Olympic Committee to provided my specialize therapy to the athletes and coaches. I am a member of the first massage team in Olympic history.
I am the only massage therapist in the State of Hawaii to receive our State's prestigeous "Governors Commendation" for my accomplishments in the world of massage therapy and also providing outstanding massage education.
"WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IRONMAN TRIATHLON" MASSAGE TEAM" IN KAILUA-KONA, HAWAII: When the Ironman World Championship moved to Kailua-Kona in 1981, Geno and 36 other Kona massage therapists were at the finish line greeting the athletes with massage. Geno now teaches "Triathlon M.M.T. Massage" courses.
Medical staff for the Association of Volleyball Professionals (Professional Beach Volleyball). Our Newport Beach, California medical clinic was the hub of medical services to the professional beach volleyball athletes. We also provided courtside therapy during professional tournaments
The first high end "Triathlon Team" (J. David Triathlon Team) selected Geno to be their full time specialized massage therapist. I provided my specialized therapy at the training home base in Rancho Santa Fe, California (North county San Diego). I also traveled with the team to competition sites. The team consisted of 9 World Champions, men and women.
Debbie Rocker and Cherie Moore (Bud-Lite Tandem Team) set the world record, transcontinental tandem bicycle record. Their distance started at the Huntington Beach, California pier, and finished at the Atlantic City, New Jersey boardwalk. The distance covered 2,788 miles. They completed their World Record in 12 days, 7 hours, 43 minutes. They averaged over 250 miles per day...and averaged 1.5 hours sleep every 24 hours. Geno was part of the team and traveled the entire distance, giving therapy the the cyclists as they slept, as well as emergency needs on their journey. Over 50 therapists interviewed for this position, only Geno was choosen to be their therapist.
From California to Hawaii, Geno has been a Medical Massage Therapist for many medical facilities. He has worked side by side with surgeons, Drs., kinesiologists, physical therapists and many other medical professionals. Geno has over 20 years in the field of Medical Massage Therapy.
