Multifaceted bodywork professional

I started my journey in body work after having multiple reconstructive surgeries when I was 18 and 19 - I required physical therapy which lead me to a very rewarding career as a physical therapist. 


I graduated from the University of Mississippi Medical Center with my degree in Physical Therapy and began practicing as a PT in Maryland in 1994.  I worked as a PT in multiple settings (hospital, rehab centers, outpatient clinics, nursing homes) and truly love the profession.

After practicing as a PT for 19 years, I made the life changing decision to move to another type of bodywork - massage therapy.  I truly love bodywork and I find massage therapy such a healing profession.  Hokulani Massage Academy has enhanced my bodywork skills in so many ways, and I feel that I have a truly unique approach to massage with my physical therapist background.
