Aloha!
My interests in life have always been quite dynamic. A good motto I follow is that life is meant to be explored and I have certainly taken advantage of that!
Some of my proudest accomplishments include obtaining my 100 ton captains license, working as a veterinary technician, obtaining my real estate license while working with a top firm in Colorado, becoming a licensed massage therapist and acting as an advocate in ocean conservation through underwater photography as well as marine biology education.
I was diagnosed with epilepsy at 19 years old and then rheumatoid arthritis at 32 years old. As soon as I left the house to explore life on my own my body has wanted to hold me back. I never took no for an answer and have since jumped through hoops obtaining goals such as my captains license, competing in off road triathlon for years just to achieve a spot in Xterra Worlds on Maui and even free diving to 130 feet! While my body told me no... my heart told me yes.
My passion for massage emerged within the year and a half I was assisting in chiropractic along side our doctors at Malama and Miranda Chiropractic. Because of the limitations I overcome each day and my perseverance to feel my best I have developed a certain sense for the body while performing body work. I know on the deepest of levels what inflammation, restriction, pain and blockage feels like. Most important is I know the impact it is having on your life.
The reason why I share my energy with you is because I want you to thrive. I want you to have success in your life and in your journey. Whether your reason for body work is a new or old injury, a chronic condition, an emotional block or you simply need a good dose of blood flow and relaxation, I am here for you.
Mahalo Nui Loa! I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute in your very own success on this journey called life!
Aloha,
Patty
