REVIEWS for my Bodywork services

by Julia on Jan 24
Melanie has an amazingly skillful touch, and a gentle trauma-sensitive presence. During the restorative massage portion of my visit, I felt an intensely relaxing release wherever her hands gently pressed. The craniosacral therapy experience was hard to describe, but while very subtle and gentle in terms of touch, was powerful internally. I continue to feel shifts a couple days after my appointment, and I will be back for more to aid in my concussion recovery.

Incredible experience across the board. Melanie is very responsive to any directions and very knowledgeable on her craft. I recommend her to everyone.

Melanie worked around a new injury with confidence and skill. Okay, it wasn’t a huge injury, but it’s great to know you’re in good hands.

I came in for a restorative massage with Melanie for the first time. Melanie made me feel extremely comfortable and handled my body with care. Melanie asked for consent where necessary, never surprising me when introducing a new treatment or working on a new area of my body. This is the first massage I’ve had where it wasn’t painful - and yet, I felt just as rejuvenated and relaxed post massage. I believe I may have held the preconceived notion that the more it hurts, the more benefits I’m getting. Melanie tailored the massage to my needs, focusing on my areas of concern (neck and shoulders), blending a combination of techniques to both firmly and softly relax my muscles. It’s typically very hard for me to remain centered and relaxed during a massage; I’m easily distracted by outside noises or the room around me. Surprisingly, despite some noise from the outside street, I found myself tuned in and fully present during the massage. The room is just for one client at a time, and feels warm and cozy. If you really look for an upscale spa feel, this isn’t it. But trust that you will feel just as calm and taken care of. I will be coming back and I would highly recommend you try a

Melanie was a highly skilled natural. She has a deep connection to the body and moved a lot of stagnant energy. She was super sweet, too. :)
