Leiah Carr, LMT, RM, ATBP, CHMLD has been practicing holistic therapies for over 20 years.  She is the founder and clinic director of the Health Studio.  She is the Immediate Past President of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association (2 Terms), and Past President of the FSMTA First Coast Chapter (3 Terms).  She is the President of the International Sound Healing Institute, and teaches holistic techniques both nationally and internationally.  She is a passionate advocate for the massage therapy profession having experienced the benefits of massage therapy following several severe auto accidents.  This is what led her into the massage therapy field.  Having previously worked as a Stock Transfer Agent she understands the cumulative effect of stress on the body, mind and spirit.


These past experiences gives her a greater level of understanding and compassion for those seeking massage therapy and wellness services.  Leiah has extensive training in many modalities covering both eastern and western techniques.  This depth of knowledge and skills allows her to achieve results on some of the most challenging of cases and conditions.

Leiah has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 30 years.  They have two amazing children.  In her leisure time she enjoys hiking, gardening, boating and camping.  She is advancing in the areas of photography and painting. Several pieces of her artwork are in the Health Studio.
She has a passion for life and adventure, whether that's white water rafting, zip lining or sky diving, all of which she has done and has many great stories.  

Leiah has obtained several professional awards and in 2016 she was honored to be inducted into the World Massage Hall of Fame.  Her greatest desire in life is to serve and help others through her many natural gifts, talents and skills.
