Angela is Board Certified and a North Carolina Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT). She is active with good standing with the American Medical Massage Association (AMMA), National Lymphedema Network (NLN), Society for Oncology Massage (S4OM), North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy (BMBT) and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB / BCTMB).

Angela has since earned her Certification as an Oncology Massage Therapist by completing Cheryl Chapman's course: "Massage and Bodywork for Cancer, Mastectomy and Breast Surgeries" (including Massage Therapy for HIV/AIDS and Hospice patients), Short Hills, NJ. This extensive course of study has provided her the knowledge and ability to offer safe, medically oriented therapy for people living with these conditions. She provides a compassionate, gentle and nurturing touch to help ease many of the side effects of required medical treatments.

Angela has continued her studies by earning her Certification in Complete Decongestive Therapy as a Complete Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) from the Academy of Lymphatic Studies, Sebastian, FL. This advanced her knowledge to understand how the Lymphatic system works and the treatment of Lymphedemous conditions commonly caused by damage, surgery, removal and/or eradication of Lymph Nodes, or congenital defect of the Lymphatic System. Also, Angela is an active supporter of the Lymphedema Treatment Act (LTA).

Additionally, Angela is Certified as an Accredited Massage Therapy Instructor through Nancy Toner Weinberger's course, of Dynamic Equilibrium, in Youngsville, NC. Angela will offer Board Approved continuing education courses to Licensed Massage Therapists and Medical Professionals beginning in Spring of 2017.
