I am excited to be a Registered Massage Therapist in the beautiful land of Nova Scotia. I live with my wife in Hubley, outside of Halifax. We enjoy hosting old and new friends at our humble slice of Nova Scotia heaven. 


I look forward to working with clients on their path to healing, and helping them to regain, maintain, improve, and build awareness of their health in both mind and body through a patient focused, and goal oriented approach to massage therapy treatments.

 I am trained in neuromuscular techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, manual lymph drainage, pregnancy, and many other types of massage. I employ strong compressions, pressure and direct techniques when necessary but also bring many light and more subtle forms of massage  forward for more acute and tender bodywork. Communication with my patients is a key component throughout my treatments to meet their desired goals and outcomes.

Neurology Clinical Experience

I am familiar with the neurology of the body and specifically working with patins who suffer from Migraine's and Parkinson's disease. I have treated a number of clients with Migraine symptoms and have been working with Parkinson's patients on a caregiver bases within my family and in the clinical setting as an RMT. I have found many techniques to help with these and other neurological conditions.

Enhanced Care Facility Experience

I have experience in working with clients in Enhanced Care facilities around massage needs from the enhanced care clinic I volunteered in during my training. I am also familiar with working with clients who have cognitive deficits as I have family members with some of these types of ongoing conditions.

Sports Clinical Experience

From working in the sports clinic at my massage college I am familiar with many techniques helpful to those who have active lifestyles and techniques for treating particular injuries caused by the sports they engage in. Sports massage can also be implemented in a way to warm up or cool down from a upcoming sporting event or to even help in the weeks leading up to or coming out of the event.

Meditation

Shambhala Training Program

13 weekend courses on meditation, contemplation, societal engagement and leadership with a 10 day graduation program and ceremony in 2012.

Meditation Instructor

Trained in leading others in breathing meditation exercises, contemplations and group discussions around mediation. Received certification through Shambhala International in 2014
