I played soccer when I was younger. I had chronic low back pain and couldn't figure out what was wrong. The problem turned out to be coming from my hips. I couldn't believe it because I worked out so much. I realized that I was neglecting certain parts of my body and even though I was strong overall, there were parts of me that were not keeping up.
I decided to become a massage therapist to better serve others. I specialize in working with clients who experience pain in their necks or backs. Often the culprit is a muscular imbalance brought on by an injury, poor posture, or too much time sitting.
I use deep pressure to loosen, overstressed muscles that are pulling bones out of alignment and bring them back to a more natural, healthy and flexible state.
It is amazing how sometimes, the source of our pain, isn't where we think it is.
