Overall, I was satisfied with the experience. The one thing I want to note is that a lotion or ointment was used that created heat. I was unaware of this and heat makes my musculature issues worse later on. So although the massage probably helped me long-term, in the short-term I was in a lot of discomfort. I'd recommend informing clients ahead of time if heat is being used and if they are okay with this in case they are like me where heat actually makes their muscular problems worse. But hopefully this information will help a future client's experience be better than mine.

I'm not the easiest client for a massage therapist. My muscles are already super tight and in a lot of pain always. Most deep tissue therapists really have no idea what a deep tissue is supposed to be. Thankfully, Jose does know what he's talking about when he says he does deep tissue. His professionalism and nice demeanor is a very welcome change. He works very hard on someone like myself. I will be back!
