Linda began her massage career
in Virginia in 1999. Her work as a food
service manager left her unfulfilled and she found that she was much more interested
in holistic health and helping others to achieve a sense of balance and well-being. She began to look around for a career that
would allow her to fulfill her dream and found that massage therapy fit the
bill perfectly.
Linda's specialties include
orthopedic treatments, sports therapies, trigger point, and deep tissue massage. She is currently training in Neurosomatic Therapy, which addresses the body as a functional unit and through postural assessment helps to quickly get to the root of the problem. She has worked with professional and top level athletes and
especially enjoys helping runners to improve their performance and prevent
injury.
Specialties include working
with hip issues, sciatic nerve pain, carpal tunnel, tennis/golfers elbow and
shoulder pathologies.
Linda is a voracious student of
health and wellness and enjoys sharing information about how to bring our
bodies into balance. Her passion, beside massage, is
holistic nutrition. Her other pursuits
include cooking and travel.
Linda resides with her husband
Sean in Copperfield, TX. Linda is the owner of Néda Massage, a private
massage therapy practice in Rochester, NY.
