I never would have thought that being in a motor vehicle accident would lead me to becoming a massage therapist but it did! I attended Phoenix School of Holistic Health and became licensed in 2010. In the beginning of my massage career I was a volunteer massage therapist for a local hospice organization and was profoundly moved by the benefits this population, as well as their caregivers received though massage and touch therapies.
I decided it was time to take a new direction with my work and decided to adventure into the other bookend of life. I spent two years studying prenatal, postpartum, labor and delivery, bed rest and infant massage at Houston Pregnancy Massage and Doula Care. Providing massage therapy services to expectant mothers with low risk and high risk pregnancies was very rewarding and was where I found my niche. I was also blessed to attend births and provide massage therapy to laboring women at several hospitals in the Houston area.
My service area includes the greater Houston area, Katy, Fulshear, Cinco Ranch, Sugarland, and Missouri City. Please feel free to contact me if you are outside of these area or have a question regarding my service area.
Aside from prenatal, postpartum, and hospice massage, I am also certified in massage for seniors, Thai massage, and medical massage.
When not massaging, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring Houston, sewing, cooking, reading, and studying for nursing school.
