E Komo Mai (Welcome)!

My name is Angel and I was born and raised on the island of O'ahu in the ripe year of 1992. My interest in massage therapy stemmed from a mixture of a spiritual "calling" and my family upbringing of rubbing shoulders and stepping on backs as a child.

I attended a summer workshop conducted by "Na Pua 'Olohe" focusing on Kahuna bodywork and principles after I graduated from Kaimuki High School in 2010. The two week seminar not only changed my life, but set in motion my ambitions to become a massage practitioner focused on facilitating change within the human body. The profound transition became my stepping stone to my career as I enrolled at a massage school in 2011.

I graduated "Elite Massage Academy" with over 470 hours of clinical massages in May 2012; after meeting amazing people and gaining an unforgettable experience. I passed my Hawaii State Massage Therapy Exam with flying colors and then acquired my license within that same year.

My style of bodywork ranges from Swedish, Shiatsu, Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue, Lomi-Lomi, and Thai/ROM stretching techniques. It is within my personal experience that my bodywork is received well from individuals that participate in an active (or partially active!) lifestyle. I have worked on satisfied surfers, marathon runners, weight-lifters, joggers, martial artists, and the office worker whom visits the gym every once in a while.

I currently work with Dr. Jeffrey Lee D.C "Ala Moana Chiropractic" at the Interstate Building. If you are injured in a car accident or receiving work compensation, your insurance MAY cover your sessions with me as long as you are approved by your physician. Please contact me to check my availability! I also do house calls as an additional service.

I am currently attending "University of Hawaii's: Kap'iolani Community College" in order to receive Associates of Science in Physical Therapy Assistant in order to supplement my knowledge in massage therapy.
