Linda Garvey LMT completed a B.S degree at SUNY Oneonta with a major in Psychology minor in Sociology in 2010. Her interests led her to study Neuropsychology, Cognition, and brain wave states during sleep, as well as Jungian and Freudian dream interpretation and analysis. After completing a stint in a Behavioral Neuroscience research lab at Binghamton University in 2010, Linda decided that she would like to work in a clinical setting, interacting with humans instead of rats. Linda moved to New Hampshire in 2012 and began working as a community mental health worker in various clinical and community settings in the Upper Connecticut River Valley. In 2015, Linda joined the River Valley Massage Therapy Program and completed in 2017. As an intern and for many years after, Linda worked in a massage clinic adjacent to a chiropractor’s office in Keene, NH  where she developed her treatment planning and therapeutic skills such as Thai Massage, Lomi Lomi, Cupping, and Myofascial Release. In 2018, Linda began working in a well respected local spa providing high quality spa services. In 2019, Linda was attuned to Usui Reiki Level II and continues to expand her knowledge about all the modalities she practices.

Linda is pleased to offer high quality and personally tailored bodywork services that promote healthy changes in posture and pain management, and support self care routines for everyone whether you are seeking a deeper or lighter style of massage.

When she is not studying anatomy books and working, Linda enjoys a very active life. She is currently working on hiking the AMC 4,000 footer list and enjoys camping, boating in local lakes, skiing, snowshoeing, practicing yoga, biking (road and otherwise), care taking for a permaculture garden, and many home crafting projects of all sorts.
