Through my own journey for health and wellness, I came to study/work under a naturopath in 2010. After three years of working with a naturopath, I came to learn and understand the connection between the mind, body, and spirit.

My studies led me to become educated in massage therapy to learn and understand the beauty of the human body. As a result, I found it is crucial to not isolate various aspects of self. I have an appreciation and understanding of our human aspects (physical, emotional, spiritual, intellectual) and to incorporate these aspects to meet and understand my clients on a personal level.
To better understand my clients and the human psyche, I furthered my education to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Human Services with concentration in Case Management. I found it to be important to understand how our real-world problems directly impact our health and wellness. This degree specifically amplified me to understand the correlation between how people perceive and respond in the external world, is also internalized physically.

In 2016, I encountered my own medical trauma by having a full pelvic reconstructive surgery. This experience helped me understand on a personal level: the challenges people encounter when they are faced with compromising positions to their health and what a person must overcome to recover and heal.

I personally, make it my intention to work with people to help overcome their obstacles and achieve both mental and physical consciousness. As a therapist, my goal is to actively listen, meet my client’s where they are at and create goals that are both attainable and realistic. My passion is to help others who are struggling and seeking more than just a feel-good moment but wanting to gain a better understanding of their body’s needs and maintaining health and wellness through bodywork.
