I am a massage therapist licensed since 2011. Although I have a lot of experience with all different modalities of massage, my passion lies in prenatal and post-partum care. I also love working with birth partners and doing infant massage after baby comes into the world. I have only had a couple of massages in my life. I am a Dental Hygienist and I really started to need some muscle work and in my neck and shoulders. I began seeing Bethany somewhat reluctantly. I really have been amazed at how much she has helped me. She is extremely knowledgeable and gifted in her profession. I am very grateful for her. She has been a true blessing. I am recovering from rotator cuff surgery and saw Bethany to see if she could relieve my discomfort even a little. Oh my gosh--I finished our therapy session with my shoulder feeling better than ever since my surgery. She not only used techniques to promote blood flow but also to reduce swelling AND (even greater!) increased my range of motion. She took care of my non-dominant side (which I have had to use for the past 5 weeks and which was strained a lot). She found spots that needed attention that I wasn't even aware of. I am going back for more frequent massages to help my overall recovery and to continue with regular massage treatments ongoing.
