Acupressure

I worked for a Chiropractor for 6 years who was also a licensed acupuncturist. He taught me the fundamental theories of acupuncture and how to use specific points (with pressure) to help patients with physiological and musculo-skeletal compaints

Craniosacral Therapy

Healing you Child- Cranial Sacral Therapy. Cranial Sacral techniques and their specific application for children. Helping children with ADHD, autism, ear infections, etc.

Deep Tissue

I have several years experience working with people with Chronic Pain. I have experience working with patients who have autoimmune disorders (MS, Lupus, Lyme, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue). I also have several years experience working with clients who have injured disk (herniation, etc). I have worked with clients who have had a failed surgery, multiple surgeries, or who are trying to avoid spine surgery.

Neuromuscular

Much of my experience is working with client's who bodies have experienced trauma. This can be from and accident (car, slip and fall, etc) or chronic postural muscle strain (working at a computer, lifting heavy objects at work). Trigger points are often a large contributing factor in addressing this type of pain. Neuromuscular therapy is excellent in addressing these areas of pain.

Pregnancy

I am a trained Birth and Postpartum Doula (DONA) since 2001. I support women prenatally, during birth, and in the immediate postpartum period. I also work with women who experience chronic pain. I've worked with women who have chronic abdominal/pelvic pain (from pregnancy or not), scar tissue from abdominal surgery (C-section or other), and epidural site injection pain.

Medical

I have experience working with Spine Surgeons, OB/GYN, and Fertility Specialists to help their patients improve outcomes.
