Professional Massage Therapy For Women's Health

I believe each of us are given talents and gift that we are meant to use and share in our lifetime. Sometimes, the hardest part is figuring out what they are and how to use them! Massage therapy has been a perfect career path for me because I, like many women, am a nurturer and caretaker at heart. Sharing this gift has been very rewarding to me. Not everyone can work in the quiet environment required in massage therapy. I thrive in the silence of a massage session. I enjoy the deep focus and listening, not necessarily with my ears, but intuitively listening to what my client needs at this moment on my table. I know this is when the deepest of healing can occur for my clients and I respect this time. I enjoy reading all things related to women’s health and aging well. I am inspired when I see women taking care of themselves, feeling well and aging beautifully. If you are looking to make massage therapy part of your health care routine, I look forward to working with you!

After graduating from Lakeside School of Massage Therapy in 2000, I became Nationally Certified by the NCBTMB. In 2015, I continued onto Board Certification. I am a Professional Member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Specializing in women's health was a natural process for me because I am interested in maintaining my own health and aging well, and helping my clients so the same. When I look to continue my education, I find classes that my clients will benefit from. Some of those include: Prenatal Massage, Cancer and Mastectomy Massage, Massage for Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue, Touch for the Seriously ill, Stress and the Mind Body Connection, Diet, Cognition and Longevity, Brain Injury/Dementia, Myofacial Release, Aromatherapy for Pain Management.

What a great experience! I never had a massage before. My girlfriend gave me her gift certificate because she didn’t want a massage. I’m so happy I stepped out of my bubble for this! It’s so worth it to do something as nice for yourself. My only complaint is that it goes by so fast! Thank you Michelle.
