I became a licensed massage therapist from Cortiva-Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy in 2011. The foundation of the teachings focused on therapeutic methods that provide a holistic approach to pain management. Massage alone was not addressing the causes of my client’s pain, so in 2014 I pursued additional training in myofascial release. Myofascial release, or connective tissue therapy, allows me to focus on increasing people’s mobility while reducing chronic pain. This is something I feel passionate about and began to solely use this approach while working for a naturopathic doctor at a biofeedback clinic. I continue to train and learn with those specializing in connective tissue therapy and am more certain that this type of treatment frees people of their pain while directing their energies towards other things in life, such as exercising, dancing, or whatever else you may want to do that you were restricted from in the past. I encourage you to schedule a visit so we can start relieving you of your physical limitations today
